Okay everybody, I’ll apologise in advance because this post is going to be swamped with pics.
From release day last Tuesday right through to the launch party last Friday evening, this has undoubtedly been the most exhilarating week in my writing career to date. The support from friends, family, readers and other writers has been truly overwhelming.
I’d like to extend gratitude to Natasha and Simon at Waterstones for hosting the event with such enthusiasm, my friends and family for coming along to support me and, in particular, my husband and daughter for mingling and handing out drinks and cakes. My dad kept me topped up with drinks and my brother flitted around the room taking photos. It was a real family affair and I will always remember my first official launch party with a great sense of fondness. Thanks to everyone who came along for making it so special.
My next event is a book signing at Waterstones, Kettering on Saturday 12th April from 10 – 3pm. Do pop along for a chat and a slice of cake if you are able. It would be lovely to see you there. Unfortunately it won’t be this one because we ate every crumb. Yum. yum.
I’ll leave you with some of the room shots. So difficult to capture everybody, but I think my brother did a pretty good job. Have a great week all!
