As the title says, my latest release is on Amazon’s ‘Flash Friday Sale’ and 98p for just one day! For less than two packets of crisps (or one if you have expensive taste!) you can download and read about Min Li’s adventure in Stratford upon Avon.
I’m really proud of this book, not least because it has amassed over 50 wonderful Amazon reviews and launches my new character of Detective Inspector Will Jackman. It also introduced me to the beautiful streets and rolling countryside of Stratford upon Avon and I’ll always be thankful for that. Here’s the blurb:
I concentrated hard, desperately listening for something
familiar, the sound of life. I heard nothing. Just my own
breaths and the wind, whistling through branches above…
The thought made me shiver. I am buried alive.
Following an argument with her British boyfriend, Chinese
student Min Li is abducted whilst walking the dark streets of
picturesque Stratford-upon-Avon alone.
Trapped in a dark pit, Min is at the mercy of her captor.
Detective Inspector Will Jackman is tasked with solving the
case and in his search for answers discovers that the truth is
buried deeper than he ever expected.
But, as another student vanishes and Min grows ever weaker,
time is running out. Can Jackman track down the kidnapper,
before it’s too late?
So, if you haven’t already had a chance to read, grab it now while it’s hot!
And if you are still deliberating, here’s a snippet of what reviewers have been saying:
‘An involving and clever plot; a sympathetic protagonist. In a crowded field, Jane Isaac writes like a seasoned professional.’ –Mick Herron, CWA Goldsboro Gold Dagger Award Winner
‘Jane Isaac has captured Min Li’s isolation to perfection. This, together with its impressive crescendo, makes Before It’s Too Late an altogether compelling read.’ — Little Bookness Lane
‘The story flows magnificently… it twists and turns its way to an excellent and heart stopping finale’ — Liz Loves Books
‘Cleverly written with enough to keep you hooked all night.’ BookedIn
Have a wonderful weekend, folks. Happy reading!
