Well, it has been a long time coming, but we are now finally here! After He’s Gone is released on Amazon in paperback and eBook today! Whoohoo!
This is the first in the DC Beth Chamberlain (Family Liaison Officer) series and I’m delighted with the response from early readers so far!
The publication of this book, my first self-published novel from scratch, has been a huge learning curve for me because I’ve opted to take on the role of the publisher and the author with this one and, while there have been some definite nail-biting moments(!), I’m really proud of the finished product. I’d like to say huge thanks to everyone who has helped with beta reading, research, editing, self publishing advice and, of course, send out my gratitude to all the lovely readers and reviewers out there who have done early reviews. I really appreciate your support!
After He’s Gone is initially available exclusively on Amazon here, where the eBook is available at the super special price of £1.99 for a limited time.
The accompanying blog tour starts today on Swirl and Thread.
I’ll be doing a live Q & A on Facebook’s brilliant Crime Book Club this evening from 7 – 8.30 pm. Do join me there if you can!
Also, I’m running competitions over the next few days on my Facebook page with a chance to win the above goodies, featuring that gorgeous cover art. Do join me there for a chance to win. All welcome!
I’ll leave you with some of the fabulous quotes from early reviewers on Goodreads that have, quite honestly, made this book release so special:
‘I was hooked in completely by the prologue and I think she has struck gold here and predict this will be a much loved series.’ Colette Lamberth
‘a brilliantly constructed whodunnit…’ Read and Rated
‘Isaac gives us DC Beth Chamberlain as a well-written strong female lead’ Natalie, The Book of Tomorrow
‘Loved it, can highly recommend and can’t wait to see Beth again very soon’ Nicola Southall
‘…every one has secrets but this man had them by the bucket load! Highly recommended!’ Teresa Nikolic
