One of the nicest things about having a launch party is the opportunity to get together and catch up with so many friends and family, and Friday evening was certainly no exception.
I originally met the fabulous Ian Patrick, detective turned crime writer, through Twitter and over the past few years he has become a firm family friend. So you can imagine how honoured I was when he offered to come down from Scotland to stay for the weekend and interview me. And what a fun interview it was!
I’m so grateful to friends from the writing world, book clubs and local friends and family, who came together to enjoy a glass of wine and a slice of the delicious book cake, baked my brilliant neighbour, Donna.
Here’s a selection of photos, mostly taken by the uber talented Ian Patrick, and Elaine Aldred (who very kindly spent so much time photographing others that I don’t have a pic with her in!).
Huge thanks to everyone who came along and made the evening so memorable, and special thanks go out to Simon and Jo at Waterstones, Market Harborough for doing such a lovely job of hosting the event!
