One Good Lie is the story of two sisters, Ruby and Sophie, in the wake of the brutal murder of their mother. The killer has been convicted and life is beginning to settle, when they suddenly discover that danger is still out there and closer than they realise. Here is the blurb:

I hope you like the cover as much as I do. I’m so excited about this book. After ten years of writing detective novels, this is my first standalone psychological thriller and I can’t wait to share it with you!
Although this marks a slightly different direction for me, I want to reassure fans of my police procedurals that there will be more detective books to come. I am just putting the finishing touches to a new DCI Helen Lavery novel for 2022 and will be sharing more details about that with you soon.
